Nightingale park

Shrubbury Nightingale park was around a ten minute walk from the Chauhrasta Square. It is known for the beautiful views of mount Kanchenjunga and at the time of season, for the cultural plays and dances performed by the localités of Gorkhaland. The fascinating fact about this park was that it just had too many colors in it, there was a wide range of colors found in flowers, benches and the shaded seatings. There was even a bright white statue of Shiva above a pond which had a musical fountain followed by a temple which was a few steps above the park. As this park stood on a great height of the hills, the view of sunset looked clear and beautiful. A wooden constructed hut-shaped lounge which seemed warm and cozy was present there too probably for the visitors to enjoy cultural shows and scenic views.
