Trek High

A moment that reminds me of this vacation, Such a deep memory, still gives me chills' sensation. 6800 feet above the ground we trekked uphill, As low as a degree temperature made us close to ill. I remember that time when only sound present would be of breeze, That trek I must say was of a little struggle, and not of ease. A place where the main population was the herd(s) of sheep, Their voices and bleats were an alarm to our morning's sleep. The eerie silence of its night had its own high, Those twinkling stars in the sky made me desire to fly. This trek made me realize there's nothing above the inner peace, No material thing can be compared to this place's emotion release. I felt high, intoxicated in that moment of time at such a great height, A feeling that can't be expressed but came out of that visionary sight. Not really feared of heights but all the high sighting uphill were shunned, Once reached the spot, the only scenic beauty was accepted in Triund.
