[Source: Oxford dictionary] God {Pronunciation/ɡɒd/} (noun)

  • a superhuman being or spirit worshipped as having power over nature or human fortunes

  • A greatly admired or influential person

I’m an atheist and I found God. If you don’t believe me, refer the photograph clicked by me above. Well, you might not see it yet but you’ll understand by the end of all I’ve written. Let me just start from the beginning, what is God? A supernatural power over us humans or nature, not really I suppose. If that was so, why would bad things ever take place, as referred by holy books, we are the children of god and so, why wouldn’t he guide his sons the right direction or stop them from doing the wrong things. Why the terrorism because of the religions of this vast world takes place, isn’t god supposed to stop his children fighting among their selves. I personally don’t believe in the existence of any supernatural power, but if it was ever present, I’m sure it wouldn’t divide us humans into things like “religions”. It’s certainly created by us. What I believe “god” to be is a human created character which helps the person to gain self confidence, someone to confide in when no one’s present, someone to show the difference between good and bad; but still it’s someone intangible, unheard or unseen whose existence can never be proved. There’s an interesting thing known as “automatic writing” where a person unconsciously allows himself to flow his thoughts on the paper by writing without even realizing the moment. This activity has been often said to be spiritual by several authors, spiritual leaders and also that those words come by the source of god because it mostly guides a person to a right direction or answers any of a person’s question. It’s actually nothing but a state where one connects his conscious or real mind to his subconscious mind which means there’s a power in our own selves which has answers to everything. A child is born neutral to his skills of decision making, opinions, or even gender attraction. So why is it so that homosexuality is cursed or said to be sinful by religions, was it person’s fault that he took birth that way or rather his bad luck that he took birth in that community. Every person has his own identity and rational opinions which everyone must respect and not interfere into unless it harms the society. Humans have exploited the real meaning of god, it’s not someone whom you’ll fast for will wash off your sins or not someone whom you think apologizing after committing a crime will turn your wrong actions right. And certainly, if you do donate in name of god or offer prayers and expect back something from god then it’s nothing but business. What matters is karma, do get and get good. Well, all the theists or religious persons reading this just for a moment forget that there’s anything known as god and curse him for a second. I’m sure you wouldn’t have or rather couldn’t have, because you FEARED. So basically, your god can cause fear within you and I don’t think god should make you feel feared. And now, just for a moment close your eyes and disbelieve god and think of doing the worst thing you could ever imagine. You’d feel rough about it, why, there’s no one behind you telling what’s good or bad. How can you sometimes differentiate between good or bad things which haven’t been taught by your teachers or parents? By this time you might realize that’s there is someone in your mind who can tell you literally anything, believe me, that’s god. It’s not those handmade idols, or those sacred animals or things but it’s you, the god is within you. I don’t say not to believe in your god, I respect one’s own opinion but I just say not to exploit the meaning or purposes of gods/religions. After this, try closing your eyes and feel the realism present in yourself, feel the existence of having yourself in this world, feel everything you imagined of god. Any if by chance you tend to talk or communicate with yourself, congrats, you found god too. And the blank image I clicked referring to god was just a perception when you close your eyes. Believing of something that does or doesn’t exist is within you.

P.s. the image is nothing but a photograph clicked without taking off the camera lens.
